Homemade White Chocolate Mocha

What’s your favorite coffee drink that you make at home?

My go to Starbucks order is a hot Venti White Chocolate mocha with half the syrup (2.5 pumps vs 5) and no whip.  It’s my favorite way to drink coffee all year round but it was getting to be an expensive habit!  Enter in one of my favorite purchases from Amazon - Breville barista espresso machine.  This has definitely upped our ability to make lattes more similar to a coffee shop!  The learning curve to this machine is there but once we got the hang of it there was no going back!

Step 1 - Choose whole beans to pour into the top hopper (with a built in burr gringer!)

Step 2 - Take the porta filter and slide it (see photo above)

Step 3 - Push the porta filter in to start grinding the beans (use the buttons to adjust size and amount)

Step 4 - Tamp down the ground coffee

Step 5 - Twist the porta filter in

Step 6 - Push to start drip (single or double shot)

Step 7 - If you want steam/foam milk use the wand (right side of machine)

Next thing is order the right syrup.  I found out what Starbucks used - Fontana white mocha syrup and ordered the exact same thing from Amazon
