We finally ventured out of base temporary lodging and drove out to Maryland. We checked out the mall in Annapolis which according to our realtor is where the closest 'good'shopping is to our new home. We decided to walk around and had dinner at Cheesecake Factory where if you have ever been there pretty much has something for everyone.
On our way back to the base we stopped at the National Harbor to checkout the waterfront. They had a pink berry and a nice beach area for the kiddos to play. I think because it was still early 6pm street parking was easy to find and it was only $2/hour. The kiddos loved it and we took some silly pics by the water!
