Mount Rushmore was very impressive looking. It is unbelievable that the faces were cut out of the mountain with dynamite and the artist had the overall vision to do so. It was a fairly quick and easy visit then we were on our way to Omaha, Nebraska.
It was a very long drive and we all took turns driving. The kids did good all things considered and entertained themselves the best they could. We didn't get into downtown Omaha until night time and checked into the hotel. We have fond memories of Hiro sushi in west omaha and found out they had opened a new location in the downtown area. My dad, Chris and I walked over to check it out after the kids were asleep since happy hour started at 10pm. It was as good as we remembered but unfortunately poor Chris just couldn't handle much sushi with his stomach still upset.
