Grand Teton National Park with kids

Grand Teton National Park!  Since Jackson Lake Lodge is located inside the Grand Teton National Park one of the first things we wanted to explore was Jenny Lake.   The kids were really excited for the boat ride across Jenny Lake to the hidden falls.  The trails to the hidden falls are supposed to be easy so we thought that would be a great first hike for the kiddos.   There was forecast for rain but luckily the weather was beautiful and the sun was out!

The trail to hidden falls was about 1.5 miles so I carried Cole in the ergo baby carrier while Kayla and Aiden walked with Chris and my parents.  They did great and we got a few good photos in front of the falls!

Next up was Yellowstone National Park!  It is absolutely amazing how big this national park is.  Nothing and I mean nothing is comparable.  We spent the majority of the time driving and we knew there was no way we could see it all since we only had two days.  The gysers here are interesting since each one is so different.  We drove to see the midway gyser basin which had the multi colored prismatic gyser.  The kids kept commenting on the smell and after a while they were asking why we kept getting out to see another 'stinky' thing.
