Government Canyon State Park with kids

Who knew we were so close to a state park?!  We drove over to my friend Elizabeth's house to pick her up to go on a walk.  She showed us the way as this hidden gem would have been hard to find on my own!

Aiden was such a trooper!  He walked on his own the whole way!  Savannah's loop is a 2.12 mile walk and he did great!  I carried Cole in the baby bjorn and Aiden alternated holding onto Elizabeth or I and running a little on his own.  I think he enjoyed the freedom to take off but never going very far and just enjoyed being outdoors.  There was a nice even path to walk on and it was lined with beautiful plants and trees.
