We decided to check out the Albuquerque Zoo and found it to be quite large with lots of animals. The kids loved it! We stopped at The Grove for a quick lunch then hit the road again.
Later we drove to the White Sand Dunes national park to see white sand. It was amazing, looking like snow and desert at the same time. The kids had a blast playing and we had fun taking pictures.
For the night we checked into Holloman Air Force base lodging.
