A simple way to personalize cocktail hour!
To create Michelle's custom monogram stir sticks was easy to do and adds a personalized touch to any event, and best of all... inexpensive! It helps to have a best friend who is a graphic designer, Priscilla created Michelle's monogram in Adobe Illustrator and sent me the file. I had originally gotten this idea from another blog called style me pretty and adapted their template for Michelle's wedding (the original post can be found here).
What I did:
1. Print monogram template onto white card stock
2. Cut out the white monogram card stock strips (approximately 0.5" x 4")
3. Cut strips of black card stock paper slightly larger than white card stock strips (approximately 1.5" x 5"-You can always use extra scraps of paper from previous projects)
4. Double stick tape the white monogram card stock strips onto the black card stock strips, then fold in half
5. Tape folded flags onto 6" bamboo skewers
6. Store in zip lock bag until the wedding day
