My girlfriend Liz mentioned she liked the idea of using rocks as placecards at her wedding. I immediately thought of going out to the river and collecting some rocks for her to write on with a sharpie but after browsing around on the internet I found a few more great ideas.
1. Collect rocks that are fairly flat and then with a sharpie write names onto one side then numbers on the other side.
2. Follow the tutorial from the violet hours blog and create your own rocks out of clay and stamps. Tutorial can be found on her blog here
3. Spray paint rocks then write onto them with a sharpie to match the her color scheme.
