Another DIY for my best friend Priscilla's wedding is to make bow ties for the ring bearers.
We cut out the fabric - 10x5 and 1.5x4. Then sew the wrong ends of the 10x5 together long ways to make a tube and flip right side out. Next, take the ends and sew together to make a circle. Then, flip so the seams are hidden inside and squish together to form a bow tie and wrap a stitch around it to hold it in place.
Iron the sides of the 1.5x4 inside to create a seam. Wrap around the bow tie and hand stitch around to cover up all seams and loose ends!
Aren't these adorable blue bow ties?!
